Our approach to growth
Since the company’s incorporation, Kistos has grown through strategic acquisitions, seeking opportunities across the energy markets. Our upstream portfolio is focused on assets with a strong production profile coupled with near-term development upside. Our strategy is guided by a flexible M&A mandate, not limited to an asset type or specific jurisdictions. This approach has allowed us to capitalise on overlooked value accretive opportunities outside of the traditional E&P model.
Led by an experienced management team with a successful track record of adept dealmaking and value creation, Kistos executed four landmark transactions in the space of four years between 2020 and 2024.
Our diverse platform
We offer our investors unique exposure to a diversified platform by investing across the upstream and midstream value chain in offshore and onshore environments, as well as in various jurisdictions and energy markets. In addition to our hydrocarbon activities, we are also actively involved in exploring renewable technologies such as compressed air at our gas storage facilities in Cheshire, UK and using our expertise to support the Porthos Project CCS in the Netherlands, which aims to store CO2 in a depleted gas field beneath the North Sea.
